Used Ronchi 18 Valve Piston Filler with 6 Head Capper

The Used Ronchi 18 Valve Piston Filler with 6 Head Capper Monobloc System basically consists of a rotary volumetric filler and of a rotary capper, which are mechanically connected and synchronized.  The Filler cyclically fills into the containers the pre-set amount of product by means of pneumatically operated filling cylinders. The Capper applies the cap on the container by means of suitable capping heads, which are designed and produced according to the handled cap. The cappers are selected by an Automatic Rotary Unscrambler and then transferred to the loading star of the Capper by means of the level chute. The containers, which are fed to the monobloc by means of the conveyor belt, are spaced by the scroll. From here they are transferred to the infeed star, which provides for their positioning on the lifting plates. During the rotation, the supporting plates are cyclically lifted or lowered, thus allowing both the centering and the introduction of the filling nozzle in the container’s neck; besides the plates guarantee the proper stability of the containers during the rotation. After this initial phase, a photo-cell detects the presence of the bottle under the filling station and activates the filling process. The filling valve and the nozzle can have different configurations, and both are designed and adjusted according to the properties of the product to be filled. Each filling station is provided with a micrometric screw for the individual adjustment and the initial calibration of the unit itself. This operation is performed only during the machine commissioning and set-up. From this moment the volume adjustment after each format change is centralized for all filling stations and is performed by means of the adjusting ring. At the end of the filling phase, the container is transferred from the filler to the capper by the central star. In this case as well, the pneumatic piston for the cap release and its transfer to the loading star is activated only in presence of the bottle. The loading star provides for the accurate positioning of the caps under the capping heads, from where they are picked up by the heads and applied on the bottles. The pistons and the capping heads are cyclically lifted or lowered by a cam, which guarantees also for the reliable repeatability of each gripping and capping operation. At the end of the capping phase, the container coming out of the Monobloc is positioned again on the conveyor belt by the exit star.
