The Used 2017 SIPA XFORM 350 Ton Preform Injection Molder has been engineered to deliver the highest platform robustness along with an unprecedented running efficiency. XFORM platforms use state-of-the-art double-toggle clamp units designed to guarantee virtually no vibrations even at ultra-fast cycle times dramatically reducing maintenance costs. Molds are easily changed as post-mold cooling designs allow for a very wide access area during changeovers. This system uses the classical configuration of a continuously-running extruder (electric motor drives) feeding a shooting pot with optimized plasticating screws to help keep acetaldehyde levels low.
