Production Ready Crown Can Filler with Angelus Seamer

The Production Ready Crown Can Filler with Angelus Seamer is painted cast steel and includes a NEW common filler/seamer base. Lift cylinder upholding mechanism, main drive gearbox, roller stanchion bearings and couplings are rebuilt or replaced. Stainless steel trip support ring with rebuilt opener and closer and new snift cam and brackets. Infeed spider drive gearbox, worm drive jackshaft, worm drive gearing, worm drive jack shaft brackets, and worm drive gearbox are rebuilt or replaced. All rubber goods, cam shaft housings, cam shafts, actuating levers and actuating lever shear washers are also replaced or rebuilt. The Production Ready Filler will also feature rebuilt tip-less can filling valves.

All fillers and seamers can be customized to your exact specifications: (Crown 40v, 72v, 100v, etc.) (Angelus 61h, 120L, 121L, etc.)

The overhauled Angelus Can Seamers are completely disassembled; all existing paint is stripped from the castings. Castings are sandblasted and prepped for Epoxy Paint. All internal and external castings are inspected to ensure they meet OEM specifications. All Crown can fillers for soft drinks are recognized world-wide for their durability, reliability and consistently high output at low operating cost. Crown can fillers are designed and built to be rugged and cost effective.

Standard Lubrication, Air, and Electrical

The filler electrical system provides control of the lubrication and air systems, can infeed sensor, can stop and can valve opener – requires an input from seamer control (existing, or by others) to indicate that the filler is running.

Filler / Seamer Electrical Control Package

  • Distributed control over Ethernet to junction boxes mounted on machine and separate LAN network specifically dedicated to plant Ethernet network.
  • Main control cabinet is Type 4X rated with air conditioning, lighting, Arc Flash protection of fused disconnect, and door interlock for operation of machine.
  • Programming is in Logix5000 which all resides in the main control panel.
  • Lube panel is modified to become a remote I/O location (lube control comes from PLC in main control panel).
  • Panelview 1000 will be pedestal mounted and contain Bevcorp’s custom screens for operation maintenance, and setup designed with maximum production time as the primary goal.
