The Langguth Wet Glue Pail Labeler provides unmatched flexibility in running full wrap labels on cylindrical containers and large spot labels on tapered pails. Filled and empty containers are labeled easily on the wetLAN® 130. For full integration this unit can be integral with a pail denester (also available through SOURCELINE).
Up to 50 cpm with full wrap or spot labels. Over 30 cpm on tapered filled or empty 5 gallon pails
The wetLAN® 130 is All-Around among the wet glue labellers. Well suited to conical shapes such as pails, this labeler also handles angular canisters and round containers like paint cans. Two magazine types are available (See Technical Details).
The labeler’s conveyor chain carries containers through the inline labeller. At the infeed a metering device creates a repeatable gap between containers, initiating progressive labelling processes. As a metered container is released a photo eye activates the label magazine. A label is separated from the stack in the magazine and guided into the glue roller. The glue roller applies a very thin and uniform glue layer onto the backside of the label. The conveyor chain speed and magazine label release are timed to achieve accurate label pick up by the container. Subsequtent to label pick up, the container moves into the roll-on station where the label is securely affixed to the container.
